除此之外，無論檯面上或私底下，阿妹對於同志的友善是眾所皆知，在2007年首度擔任「彩虹大使」，2010年也參與同志大遊行，讓許多歌迷粉絲成為忠心不二的鐵粉，加上2009年推出「彩虹」這首歌後，更將他在同志心中推向同志教母的地位，而彩虹這首歌順理成章成為同志經典國歌之一。阿妹演唱會上絕對是必唱的歌曲，在巡迴演場會《Ameizing》中採用壯觀的彩虹旗佈滿小巨蛋時，許多人都感動並流淚不已，也在彩虹旗下擁抱和親吻，表達愛都相同，愛都平等，不分男女你我。

In addition, either in public or in private, Amei’s friendliness with the gay community is well-known. In 2007, she first took the role of “Rainbow Ambassador”. In 2010, she took part in a gay parade, making many fans even more devoted. Her song, Rainbow, has even since then become the representative song for the gay community in Taiwan, a must-perform song in her concerts. In a concert tour, Ameizing, the whole concert venue was filled with rainbow flags, touching many fans in their heart. Fans embrace and kiss, believing love should be the same, regardless of our sexual orientation.

阿妹是第一位參與「多元成家法案簽署」藝人，除了商業演唱會之外，他更在2013年底自掏腰包300萬元，在台北華山藝文中心空地，用不插電方式舉辦「愛是唯一」演唱會，挑選了20多首以愛為主題的歌曲，全程開放免費參與。她真心希望可以推動台灣成為第一個亞洲通過同志婚姻的國家。爾後，阿妹於2016年邀請其他挺同音樂人，舉辦「愛最大」演唱會，再次呼籲社會重視同志平權及婚姻議題。也無怪乎同志一提到阿妹，絕對是相挺以對。畢竟阿妹對同志的付出與重視，以實際行動表示支持和關心，帶給同志族群滿滿的溫暖和愛！

Amei is the first celebrity in Taiwan who signed the petition for legalizing same-sex marriage. Besides her commercial concerts, she paid out of her own pockets to throw a concert in 2013, showcasing 20 songs with the common theme, love, with free entrance. She is a true advocate for Taiwan to become the first Asian country that legalizes same-sex marriages. Then, in 2016, Amei recruited other musicians who are also supporters of the gay community to throw another concert, trying to bring to people’s attention marriage equality issues. Therefore, she also has a large group of gay fans. This is because of her devotion to her gay fans, and she shows her support and care with concrete actions, bringing love to the gay community.
