在典禮進場的紅地毯上，已有許多音樂人針對最近台灣社會，亞洲水泥破壞環境大秀抗議之聲，加上金曲獎隔天為千人上街頭抗議之日，自然吸引許多環團人士到場聲援的最大宣傳。事後被網友在網路上笑推，金曲28搖身一變，成為撻伐亞泥盛會，就連開場表演者張震嶽都高舉著「沒有人是局外人」毛巾標語。

The day after the ceremony was the day scheduled for the demonstration, so many environmentalists arrived at the site of the ceremony to promote their cause. Many netizens jokingly referred to this year’s ceremony as the gathering for those against Asia Cement Corporation. Chang Chen-yue, singer of this year’s opening performance, even held up a sign saying “no one is an outsider”.

當典禮頒發到最佳編曲獎時，來自香港的女歌手盧凱彤因一曲《還不夠遠》獲得獎項，在上台致詞時感性道：「還有一個人，我今天一定要感謝...我要感謝我太太！我跟我太太去年在國外結婚... 謝謝她讓我生命更完整，這個世界不完美，我的音樂也不完美，但有了妳誰還需要完美。」如此美麗又真摯的一段話，獲得在場一片喝采及起立鼓掌！這段愛的發言成為同志圈中的熱門話題！
典禮後也獲得諸多明星們得喝采，被恭喜為雙喜臨門。音樂人盧凱彤，不但放開心胸做自己喜愛的音樂，更大方做自己，好自在！
HK singer Ellen Joyce Loo was awarded Best Arrangement for the song “Not Far Enough”. When she delivered her acceptance speech, she said, “I must say thanks to one person today. I want to thank my wife. Last year, we got married overseas. I want to thank her for making my life complete. This world is not perfect. My music is not perfect, either. But who needs perfection now that I have you?” This speech was beautiful and sincere, bringing a round of applause from the audience. Loo definitely enjoyed double happiness. She makes music dear to her hear and is comfortable with being herself.
